ELOPEMENTS
​
Your elopement will include yourselves , two witnesses , and myself. Of course others are welcome.
Each Ceremony is unique and client driven. I will follow your lead in my involvement level .
We can work together on to meet your expectations.
It is an honor to be part of these intimate ceremonies. My goal is for it to be exactly how you want.

SMALL WEDDINGS

Small intimate weddings are a great way to go. We can work together to execute a beautiful personal
ceremony fulfilling your vision.
I can handle the officiating, or help in a more extensive way. I have insight on locations, Photographers, Florist, celebration Venues, Jewelers, and lodging accomodations.​
Each Wedding is different and each client has different needs. I'm here for it in whatever capacity you choose.
CONSULTING
I am available to help you get organized with your plans for your special day. From simple location, to an after celebration, Photographer, or special lodging I can help guide you.
I have knowledge of the Island, surrounding areas and good connections with local service providers. I have experience in planning Catering Events, Parties, and Fundraisers as well.
I would love to help you in any way you might need.

CAKES
I make simple cakes from scratch with buttercream. The focus is on flavor as well as looking beautiful.
Lemon, Vanilla, Chocolate, or Carrot cake are my specialties.
About Me​
My name is Tasha Higgins and I live in Bar Harbor where I was born and raised.
I have a Culinary Background, and owned a small take-out and catering company
named Mother's Kitchen for 24 years.
I currently run the food Program at Mount Desert Elementary school in Northeast Harbor.
Some of my summer employment has been in a local flower shop, and a jewelry shop.
I Eloped in February 2006 on a freezing cold beach on the Island.
It was a great experience for us and we are happy we did it that way.
With all of these experiences, It suddenly came to me to bring them all together and
I created Sweet Island Love

Rates
Officiating Rates start at $200.00 . This includes basic services for a small wedding with legal filing,
and limited travel.
Rates increase depending on customizations, location, and if witnesses are needed.

Cakes Price depends on size, flavor, and style.
Cakes can accommodate up to 20 guests. Cakes for more people are considered.
​
Consulting Rates are dependent on level needed . They generally start at $150.00 and increase with the amount of assistance requested.
Day of Support Rates start at $300 and increase with time involved in fulfilling your needs.
Notary Services
Basic service starts at $40.00 . Rates increase depending on travel, or outside of regular business hours.
